Why Sellers Should Use Zillow and Trulia

I hope this post finds you well. If you want consistent Lehigh Valley housing and development news, follow my Facebook page.

Disclaimer: The Zillow Group changes their products, at the time of this post, all of this is to the best of my knowledge.

Q: So Zillow uses Google to Bring more Views. How does a Premier Agent bring more views to Sellers via Zillow. There are three tools: 1) Featured Agent Listings 2) Special Offers 3) Video Ads.

Q: Does Trulia Differ at all? Yes it does. I'll explain toward the bottom.

  1. Featured Agent Listings: Its my belief you want your listing agent to handle your calls from the internet. As apart of Zillow's Platinum Listing Package they allow agents to represent their listings on their platforms.

Ex. The picture to the left is my listing. The Picture to the right is a listing from Florida that is not Featured.

2. Special Offers: This is a Zillow Specific tool to increase views to your listing.

-In case its hard to read, an offer of 1% of list price gets 29% more contacts. Pretty cool measure of how folks respond to offers? Special Offers allow a Premier Platinum agent to be more promotional than non-agents.

3. Zillow Video Ads: My Sales Rep at Zillow Calls the below Ad placement the Times Square Ad placement of Zillow

ex:

I do not have this feature in every ZipCode. However, when I do have it ,I am only 1 of 2 possible agents that will have this feature.

Last But not Least -- Trulia.com -- Featured Listings do MORE on Trulia. They alsoput your listing with a Premier agent toward the top of the listing rankings, so they get more eyeballs (views).
